Description

Lancelot is an underworld being I created back in 2006. Similar to stories of the Grim Reaper and that of the Ferryman, Lancelot will take a human soul, but does not cause the person’s death by doing so. He collects it after it has left the body, and guides it on it’s journey to it’s respective eternal afterlife location. While he looks menacing and unforgiving, he is quite a gentle being and cares deeply for the human souls he delivers, taking his responsibilities very seriously.

In this piece, Lancelot is surrounded by flora that is representative of death and bad luck such as the chrysanthemum, thistle, and nightshade.
